Mariana Idinarohk (マリアーナ・イディナローク Mariāna Idinarōku?) is a minor character in the 86 -Eighty Six- series introduced in Death, Be Not Proud.
She is the deceased queen of the United Kingdom of Roa Gracia, mother of the princes Zafar and Vika Idinarohk.
Appearance[]
She was a woman on her late twenties or thirties at the time of death. She is described as being almost completely identical to her son Viktor.
Her preserved corpse is wearing a magnificent violet dress and has a silver tiara right over her eye, the tiara hides the cut on her head that was made by her younger son to remove Mariana's brain.
Background[]
As royalty it can be assumed Mariana was chosen as the king's wife either before being born or very early in her life. At some point she gave birth to Zafar.
Eighteen years before the story she gave birth to Viktor, unfortunately she lost too much blood during the process which caused her death.
When Viktor was only a child he removed his mother's brain to try to resurrect her, creating the Mariana Model. The process ended up in failure but they boy still uploaded the data online,hoping someone with more knowledge would improve it. Zelene Birkenbaum saw it and would later used as the basis for the creation of the Legion.

Viktor went with Shinei Nouzen to the place where the remains of the Roa Gracia Royalty were preserved. There Shin was told the connection of the late queen and the Legion. The Reaper was asked if there was any lingering feeling coming from the queen, which he denied.
