86 -Eighty Six- (86ーエイティシックスー) is a manga adaptation of the light novel series of the same name by Asato Asato and Shirabii with mechanical designs by I-IV. The manga is penned by Motoki Yoshihara.

Synopsis

There are no dead on that battlefield --officially.

The Republic of San Magnolia is said to have succeeded in developing unmanned weapons and has fought off the invasion of its neighbors without causing any casualties.

But behind the scenes, there are young men and women forced to fight as "manned drones" due to an inhumane electoral philosophy - and that's just the beginning.^[1]

Publication

The manga first started serializing on Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine Issue 05 on February 16 of 2018. The first volume was shipped on October 10, 2018.^{^[2]}

So far, the manga has been compiled into 2 volumes.
