Trivia[]

  • The ambiguous katakana of the title being able to be spelled "Dear" and "Deer" is in reference to the epilogue of Holy Blue Bullet, in which "親愛なる鹿狩人ディア・ハンター" may be translated as "Dear Deer Hunter". The titular "Dear Hunter" is Dustin Jaeger, hinted to by both the final sentence of Holy Blue Bullet, as well as his surname. "Deer" on the other hand is referring to Actaeon, the group being escorted to the Republic by Yuuto at Chitori's request. In the afterword the title "Dear Hunter" is confirmed to be Chitori addressing Dustin, although her message didn't reach him.
