This unknown female cadet is a minor and original character introduced in the 86 -Eighty Six- anime series.
She was a cadet of the San Magnolian Academy in order to become a Handler, and was present in the lecture hall when Lena was giving a lecture in front of a class of her peers in regards of the Eighty-Six[1]
Appearance[]
The Female Rookie is a young girl with the silver eyes and hair of an Alba. She keeps her hair in a ponytail.
While in class, she wears the Republic's standard Prussian blue dress uniform, with officer shoulder and collar tabs to denote her position as a cadet. She wears a plain white armband to indicate her position.
Personality[]
The young cadet showed skepticism in regards of Lena’s speech that she gave during the lecture. The cadet pointed out that while Lena claimed that she fought alongside with the Eighty-Six, had she actually ever been on the battlefield.
Background[]
In Episode 2, the Female Rookie was seen inside the classroom, along with her fellow peers, listening to the instructor. His lecture was interrupted by Vladilena Milizé who he introduced as a guest to tell her class about the experience of the battlefield.
As Lena proceeded with her lecture about the situation of the Eighty-Six, one of her classmates pointed out that the Eighty-Six were inferior, that they were below pigs, only for Lena to clarify that they are human and that she fights alongside them. To this, the Female Rookie questioned that while, Lena claimed that she fought alongside the Eighty-Six, had she ever gone to the battlefield. Lena responded that she had. While some of the fellow cadets reacted in suprise. The demeanor of the Female Rookie remained unchanged after this revelation, however she continued to listen to Lena’s lecture.
Abilities[]
As a cadet of the Republic of San Magnolia, she was educated and trained to become a Handler, however she lacks actual battle experience of a handler. It is shown that she has a sharp mind and is able to pay attention during the lecture, compared to some of her peers who were either falling asleep or talking between themselves. She is also not afraid to point out her skepticism as she was asking Lena if she ever went to the battlefield after she made that statement where she fought alongside with them.
She has also shown a certain amount of discipline. As she stood up, along with her fellow classmates when Lena was being introduced by her instructor.

While she initially showed respect by standing in attention while Lena was being introduced by her instructor, she wasn’t afraid to question Lena’s lecture in regards of fighting alongside the Eighty-Six. The respect also may have been because of Lena’s rank and experience.
