Feldreẞ (多脚機甲兵器フェルドレス, Ferudoresu?) is the umbrella term used to refer to any human-operated multi-legged armored combat vehicle.

Chronology[]

The very first Feldreẞ was created by the Alliance of Wald, a nation situated in a very mountainous region of the continent, where conventional wheeled and tracked vehicles are rendered less effective due to the difficulties of navigating the rough terrain.[1] While more mechanically sophisticated and less armored in comparison, the Feldreẞ features improved mobility as well as greater all terrain-capabilities, allowing Alliance infantries to receive armored support while enemy infantries are left without their own.

Eventually, the Feldreẞ proves its worth to military forces around the continent when they played an instrumental role in successfully defending the Alliance of Wald from an invasion by the Empire of Giad. Eventually most other nations created Feldreß models of their own, with few exceptions. One being the Regicide Fleet Countries, which due to their wetland and coastal terrain, lacks the need for a heavily mechanized army and instead focused their efforts on developing naval power.[2] The other nation that did not develop their own version of the Feldreß is the Republic of San Magnolia, who saw the Feldreß as an inferior foreign creation. But eventually, when the Empire of Giad launched an invasion of the Republic using Legion, the Republic was forced to develop their own M1A4 Juggernaut after having their military forces decimated within mere weeks.
