By the time Shin joined his squad Eijyu had fought for four years. One day after a fight he thanked Shin for telling about them about his ability to hear the Legion's voice which helped the squad in battle, the young boy brushed the thanks aside but the captain still kept talking, changing the topic to Shin being in service for a year which meant it was time he decided a Personal Name and a Personal Mark, to which the captain suggested Báleygr.

Later Eijyu talked with his friend Seiya, who was the Head Mechanic of the squad, about Shin, the mechanic had a bad opinion of the young processor who Seiya called a god of pestilence, the captain didn't agree with the harsh words.

As the battle continued Shin got careless which allowed Eijyu to deal a heavy blown. The details after Shin blacked out are unknown aside that Eijyu managed to escape.

Eijyu reappeared inside the Dragon Fang Mountain base. His unit wasn't fully repaired as it lacked its two machine guns and leg. Shin finally recognized the voice as the one of a previous captain, recalling the day when Eijyu suggested "Báleygr" as Shin's Personal Name. Eijyu was finally defeated when the Sirin Vega sacrificed her unit to give Theo a base to jump which allowed him to shoot at the Dinosauria's top rear armor, putting an end to the Shepherd.
