Volume 4: Under Pressure[]

Front Toward Enemy

As the Deputy of the Phalanx Squadron, Aina was present during Colonel Vladilena Milizé's briefing on the Recapture Operation of Charité. Instead of joining the Operation, Aina and her Squadron were assigned to escort Major Henrietta von Penrose for another task.

Once the Spearhead Squadron secured the first floor of Charité's underground central terminal, Aina deployed with the Phalanx Squadron and began her escort of Major Penrose to some nearby ruins. Creating a defensive perimeter upon arrival. While on guard, Aina would share her opinion on the operation's state and the voices of the Legion she could hear over the resonance.

Soon after, her Squadron came under attack by a group of Dragoon Type Legion, and her leader, Taiga, ordered her to retrieve the Major. Before she could retrieve Major Penrose, her unit—Estoc's—cockpit was split in half from the flank by an unknown assailant, killing her instantly. Aina became the first casualty of the Phalanx Squadron.
